I think everyone who would compete in the contest would first remember their own difficult boss fights, then look on wiki or someplace for bosses that carry powerful skills. Asking for other opinions here doesn't "compromise" the contest at all, I think.
With that said, PLEASE keep a log of all the matches and let us know how it all plays out.
Great idea!

Well, it should be especially fun because we're a PvE alliance.

- Sin Boss with Deep Wound - THANK YOU
- very much my style: one only fights him while confronting a much bigger threat: Shiro (which is why few people even know this guy - low priority target )
- egh, self heal. And a now-kinda-crap Elite. But his chain is very decent!

Sad to see that someone had to resort to asking for help on which boss to choose for this comp. I spent an hour or more going through the bosses on Wiki and thinking of the counters etc.. till I decided on who to choose.
There is a cheap way to win, but I hope no one uses it because that would be poor form.
I with you Cj3m!

It would have been my first choice too - it has 12 in *every* attribute. You normally beat it by taking advantage of it's idiotic AI - I won't have that horrid AI and can normally take advantage of its high over all attribute line. Dopple against most bosses is going to be a dopple's win. Outside of that I find Borrguus Blisterbark to be a close second - close enough I'm not sure who would win.
If you mean a normal character level and a normal attribute spread that is much harder. I'm not motivated enough to see who has the least broken skill bar out there. Bosses are supposed to be beaten so they have either a broken AI or broken skill bar. They tend to get their power through being level 28 with half skill recharge and double damage (other than the dopple in prophecies no boss is worrisome as they don't have a great AI or the half/double thing going on). If you just are choosing their profession and skill bar this is mostly a boring question as I would say "none - they all suck".

Doesn't really work for a Scrim though what with the two elites and all. I suppose you could cheat and run N/Me with Mimicry for it =P.
On second thought (and no one's really gone this way yet):
http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Stsou_Swiftscale
Automagic +30 armor against the big-hitter Eles you'll see, Troll Unguent is a good self heal, Dazed against casters and Blocking against Melee. Good overall choice.

Actually, the three people who actually read more than the title of the thread before posting, understand that the OP is involved in an alliance contest. The contestants will choose a boss, equip what skills can actually be equipped, and fight other contestants doing the same.
Seeing as how Mallyx and Abbadon use no skills a player could equip, they'd be pretty awful choices.
